To the world, the name Sherlock Holmes means nothing than a fictional private detective brought to life by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle through his novel “A Study in Scarlet” released in the 18th century.
However, little did they know that Sherlock Holmes is real and was very much alive back then. His identity and work has been kept at the highest form of confidential by the British Government. But the private detective has linked love with a mysterious woman whose name has been disguised as Mary Celeste. The offspring of Holmes’s secret relationship was well taken care of surprisingly by his brother, Mycroft.
As technology and time progressed, Holmes’s descendants have built a training ground on an island in an undisclosed location, completely cut off from civilization and is 100% secluded. In the island, stood a tall mansion coated in shades of luxury that goes by the name “The House of Altamont”—taken from Charles Altamont Doyle, becomes the main residence of Sir Arthur –the man in charge, and Mycroft –the henchman. The true identity of Sir Arthur has always been kept confidential, and no one has ever seen him as his words and orders are delivered by Mycroft.
Only those who are chosen by Sir Arthur can enter the island and train amongst the other chosen candidates. No one has lived to testify what goes beyond the gates, and certainly only Sir Arthur and Mycroft has the knowledge on how to get in and out of the island.
The island’s location itself is only known to be floating in the middle of the ocean, doesn’t says which either, and has been disguised as a luxury rehabilitation center. The original purpose of the training ground is not to produce highly trained professional secret agents that will save the world any other day and destroy the plot of an evil mastermind to rule the world. Rather than forcing others to do good, The House of Altamont aims for everyone to be open minded to their options.
Ye who enters will be trained physically and mentally, however, the choice still lays in your hand. The power and knowledge given beyond the gates are hopefully to be put into good use. But what is life when everything we do is being told of what is good and what is not? Your whole life rests in the palm of your hand. Should you wish to be the “good guy”, The House of Altamont will provide several espionage or intelligence services for you to join. Should you wish to be the “bad guy”, The House of Altamont will provide connections to several mafias, terrorists, or other criminal organizations. Just remember, remorse always comes in the end.
